Memories of laughing, smiling, and the unconditional love that you gave so freely and without compromise. Your ability to love showed a heart bigger than the body that you were given or the emotional strength that you had given us and the courage to go on. God definitely delivers us so many gifts and graciously extends so many doors, but the rich gift of you as our Mom, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and friend are more that we could ever ask for. You made us feel like we were home, and that you would take special care of us, while protecting us always.
For me, you were not just my aunt Dorothy, but also my second Mom, and also my Mom’s best friend. You were there always, making Mom laugh, and helping us all to love life, for this you will always be in my heart, and every time I picture you Dorothy, I smile. I know that you are still there watching over everyone you love and making sure that we are ok, and happy.
On that Sunday, God came and took you to a beautiful new home where you will never feel pain again, for this I am glad, because you so much deserve to be that wonderful person that we will always remember. The Dorothy full of resilient energy and just being you. My personal dream is that we can all be as strong and as loving as you were Dorothy.
We all miss you very much, but we know that you are in God’s home now, and that you are happy, healthy, and watching over us all. God gave us an angel, YOU, and we will always be so thankful, and every time we look at the stars, or the bright white clouds in the clear sky, we will remember you, and your eternal love.
